Frederick, MD – Today, Congressman David Trone’s reelection campaign launched a new website highlighting April McClain Delaney’s 22% voting record with Trump and how she repeatedly voted to back and expand ICE’s power to snatch immigrants off the streets with no due process, leading to inhumane and mass detentions and deportations.
April McClain Delaney was the only Maryland Democrat who voted to allow ICE to detain people without criminal convictions or due process. She voted to make domestic violence survivors vulnerable to deportation for reporting their abusers, and supported a resolution thanking ICE for “protecting the homeland” while masked agents tore children from families and destroyed communities.
