Frederick, MD – McClain Delaney is so embarrassed by her record of voting 22% of the time with Donald Trump that she has resorted to lying to voters. McClain Delaney, now taking a page from Donald Trump, is claiming in a new TV ad that she “voted 100% against Trump’s ICE” as if her voting record isn’t public information.

McClain Delaney has cast numerous votes with Donald Trump and against Maryland Democrats to expand ICE’s powers and even fund and praise the deportation force.

Her record includes:

• Being the only Maryland Democrat to vote for the Laken Riley Act
• A June 2025 vote to thank ICE for “protecting the Homeland.”
• A January 2025 vote that made victims of domestic violence vulnerable to deportation if they reported their abuse
• A September 2025 vote to give ICE nearly $1 billion in funding to continue Trump’s mass deportation campaign with no reforms or restrictions – coming well after the full scope of Trump’s ICE crackdown was known

McClain Delaney even continues to defend her vote for the Laken Riley Act today, calling it a “common sense vote” as recently as two weeks ago, while claiming it was “really absurd to tar and feather” her for it.

“McClain Delaney is as bad a liar as she is a fighter against Trump.
