Frederick, MD – Today, the Coalition of Asian Pacific American Democrats of Maryland (CAPAD-MD) announced its endorsement of Congressman David Trone’s reelection campaign, joining the growing wave of community voices in support of sending David back to Congress.

Established in 1996, the Coalition of Asian Pacific American Democrats of Maryland (CAPAD-MD) is the first and only state-wide Asian Pacific American Democratic Organization whose charter is recognized by the State of Maryland’s Democratic Party. CAPAD-MD’s mission is to help promote, support, and advance the interests of the Democratic Party in Maryland by conducting activities and programs to encourage and promote the education and participation of primarily Asian Pacific Americans in the affairs,activities, programs, and endeavors of the Democratic Party. 

David Trone served Maryland’s 6th District in Congress from 2019-2025. He is running for re-election in Congress to fight Trump and his MAGA agenda, protect our neighbors and our rights, and end the tariffs that are causing prices to keep going up for Maryland families.
