Frederick, MD – Today, Congressman David Trone’s reelection campaign released a new ad highlighting April McClain Delaney’s MAGA-aligned votes to enable Trump’s ICE and restrict LGBTQ+ rights.
The ad reveals McClain Delaney’s vote to restrict the rights of LGBTQ+ servicemembers – she was the only Maryland Democrat to vote for a MAGA bill that banned medically-necessary healthcare for transgender servicemembers and dependents, including lifesaving mental health care for trans youth. The bill even banned pride flags from being displayed at Department of Defense facilities and instituted a trans sports ban at service academies.
